My name is Mike Lowe, and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, but now live in Anchorage, AK.

My mother’s (Helen E. Peacock) family is from England and Northern Ireland.   My mother was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland.   Her maiden name is Peacock, and her mother’s side of the family is from the Crymble line in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My father’s (Frank H. Lowe) family is from the USA and Canada, and I think we’ll find back to Scotland and England, also.
My great-grandfather, Frank Lowe, was a Municipal Court Judge in Glendale, CA.   He had a theory about driving and responsibility – “When you get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle, you have in your hands a weapon more lethal than a loaded gun.”.   He adjudicated accordingly.
He also worked on the Wrigley Ranch on Catalina Island, off the coast of California.   He sported a beard, but it was primarily to mask scars he received when he had to bare-handed fight a bear in his younger years.
Fortunately, he won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re working on the genealogy now, so as we get more information I’ll be posting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
